Andrew Stubbs, CPA, CVA, CTC

Director of CFO Services

With over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting, Andrew is our Director of Financial Strategy at VISIBILITY CFO & Tax Advisors. Andrew has held high-profile interim CFO roles for a diverse range of VC, early growth, and PE-funded businesses across the nation. His extensive industry experience spans from healthcare and educational institutions to real estate services. Drawing on his background with prominent firms like Alvarez & Marsal and Ernst & Young, Andrew leverages both large-scale expertise and practical business acumen to enhance EBITDA and drive value creation for small to medium-sized businesses. His deep passion for practice valuation is evident in his dedication to optimizing growth and company value, whether through liquidation exits, partnership transitions, fundraising, debt-financing. He also loves traveling with his family, exercising, cold plunging, wake-surfing and boarding, and snowboarding.

Emily Stubbs, Esq.

Director of Legal Solutions

Emily brings a wealth of legal expertise to VISIBILITY CFO & Tax Advisors. Emily’s comprehensive experience spans business acquisition representation, corporate and employment law, commercial litigation, and c-suite management. Her strategic approach helps companies navigate complex legal landscapes and avoid potential pitfalls, all while enhancing their overall value. Emily’s track record includes bolstering back-office operations, aligning personnel incentives, and refining operational processes to attract outside capital. Her commitment is to help businesses achieve growth, higher valuations and successfully pursue liquidity events. Outside of these pursuits, Emily loves time spent with her 4 kids, running and exercise, travel, snow and water skiing, and word puzzles of all kinds.

Alexander Duncan, CPA

Director of Tax & Compliance

Alex brings over a decade of public accounting and tax experience to VISIBILITY CFO & Tax Advisors. Based on expertise developed at Ernst & Young and then Alvarez & Marsal, Alex specializes in guiding clients through all aspects of tax compliance and planning, including extensive experience in compliance for trust companies. Alex is passionate about helping small business owners achieve transformative growth, and the enthusiasm for his work is driven by the satisfaction of facilitating significant milestones, contributing to the development of companies, and supporting entrepreneurs through the complexities of mergers and acquisitions. Alex is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Wyoming and Georgia. Outside of work, Alex enjoys hiking with his two Springer Spaniels, fly fishing in the summer, and snowboarding in the winter.
